We’re looking for an outstanding Investment Associate to join our Investment team working with our portfolio of businesses that have raised funding on Seedrs. The role would be ideal for someone with paralegal experience.

This is a varied position and will play a core role in the continued success of Seedrs. The focus of this role will be to work with the entrepreneurs who have successfully funded on Seedrs, managing their interaction with Seedrs post-investment and following their journey. As part of this role your responsibilities will include: transitioning businesses into our portfolio, managing various post-investment and tax administrative matters, monitoring our interests as a shareholder and communicating with investors through the Seedrs platform.

Candidates should be professional, detailed oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The position will require a high-level of organisation and negotiating skills. There will be opportunities to grow your role as our portfolio expands.

What you'll do:

  • You'll have end-to-end responsibility for our ongoing post-investment and portfolio processes
  • Communicate key actions taken by the Seedrs Nominee to investors
  • You’ll be responsible for running the Seedrs tax process
  • You'll work closely with our investment team.
  • You'll engage and liaise directly with investors and entrepreneurs on queries related to portfolio companies.
  • You’ll track the performance of our portfolio companies and our portfolio as a whole.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who is interested in startups and finance
  • A detail-oriented person who is good at managing processes
  • Someone with a great work ethic, drive and persistence
  • A competent user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ideally, legal/paralegal experience, though not essential.
